SONY BMG Music Entertainment buys Nectarine
As of 1. April 2006, the ownership of all songs and intellectual property of Nectarine has been sold to SONY BMG Music Enternainment. Our main admins, Yes and doh closed the deal with the representatives of SONY BMG late last night and the control of Nectarine will be transferred immediately. SONY BMG agreed to pay Yes and doh 1 500 000 EUR for the whole system, so don't be suprised if you don't see them for a while because they are going to the Riviera.
All the rest of us admins are now getting paid monthly for our jobs as administrators.
This deal has a down-side though. Because of the transferring of the ownership and control, SONY BMG is introducing commercial artists into our databases and there will also be TOP HITS-programs streaming every night during prime time and during this time requests cannot be made.
